TESCO FLASH MOB FOR WORLD DOWN’S SYNDROME DAY
Our big secret has finally been revealed! To celebrate World Down’s Syndrome Day 2019, Project 21 performed a flash mob in Tesco Extra Martlesham (Ipswich, Suffolk) on Saturday 23rd February. This event was to raise the profile, raise awareness and invite our local community to join in the fun with us! Our flash mob medley featured a whole host of feel good party songs, and the crowd were far from disappointed…
Thank you so much to everybody who supported us, we had a blast and the atmosphere was truly amazing. We raised £220 on the day through collection buckets, and the feedback we received from the general public was phenomenal.
There is a common misconception that people with DS are ‘unable’ and ‘incapable’- we are out to change that, and will continue to push boundaries and give people with Down’s Syndrome a platform and a voice.
We want as many people as possible to see our video, so please like and share it far and wide
